Hello and welcome to the Enrollment page of PA Virtual Charter School. We are so pleased that you are considering PA Virtual as part of your child’s educational future. We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Academic Year. Applications for the current 2011-2012 school year will be placed on our waiting list.
Our simple enrollment process can be completed in three easy steps. Many families complete the process in as little as 1 week.

Please remember, this is the beginning of the application process. Completing the application does not automatically enroll your student in PA Virtual Charter School. Your child must remain enrolled and attending with his or her current school until you receive an official enrollment date with PA Virtual Charter School.

Step 1: Register your User Account, and Complete the Online Application FormIf you need assistance, please contact us toll-free at (866) 728-2751 or chat live with our Enrollment Support Specialists. Choose our online application form to begin the enrollment process. You can return to the application form at any time to complete your application. Please Note: Students wishing to enroll in our kindergarten program must be 5 years of age by September 1st. |

Step 2: Submit Necessary DocumentsAfter you have completed your online application, please download the PA Virtual Charter School Document Checklist and submit the necessary documents to your Enrollment Representative. |

Step 3: Face to Face Enrollment ConferenceIn order to complete the application process, the parent and/or legal guardian of every student enrolling must attend a mandatory Face-to-Face Enrollment Conference. These conferences are intended to ensure families understand our instructional model and the expectations of the parents, school and student. Your Enrollment Representative will also verify your student’s information, explain school policies, and review the responsibilities of both the student and the Learning Coach. You will also have an opportunity to speak with members of our family support staff and academic team. For verification purposes, please remember to bring the following original documents:

Enrollment Policy
PA Virtual Charter School is currently accepting eligible students in grades K-12 on a first-come, first-served basis. All students who reside in Pennsylvania are eligible to be admitted. Admission to the school is based on age as well as completion and submission of all enrollment forms and materials. PA Virtual Charter School is a public school open to residents of Pennsylvania and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, family income, national origin, or disability.
PA Virtual Charter School cannot enroll students who have been expelled from their previous school, students who have been suspended for certain reasons, or who have pending truancy issues.
Discrimination Policy
It is the policy of the PA Virtual Charter School that no person be denied admission to the school or be denied participation in, be denied benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extracurricular, student services, recreational or other program or activities, shall not be abridged or impaired because of the person’s sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability as required by state and federal statutes. This policy also prohibits discrimination as defined by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (sex), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (race and national origin) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (handicap).
